Content Guidelines

  • Advertisements that include unauthorized use of logos, trademarks, or copyrighted material, will not be approved
  • Advertisements promoting illegal activities, substances, or behaviors are prohibited and will not be approved
  • We will only consider approval of advertising content that is relevant and beneficial to the Toro Nation community
  • All advertisements must provide accurate and truthful information, without any misleading claims or false representation
  • Advertisements that promote on-campus events or programs must include time, date, and location specifics
  • Advertisements should respect the diverse and inclusive nature of the Toro Nation community. Content that promotes discrimination or stereotypes based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability will not be approved
  • We reserve the right to reject advertisements that conflict with the values, mission, or policies of CSUDH and/or the LSU
  • Advertisements that endorse or promote gambling, betting, or any form of unethical financial activities will not be approved
  • All advertisements must respect the privacy of individuals and adhere to the applicable data protection laws
  • We require that all advertisements be inclusive and accessible, ensuring they are compatible with accessibility standards and do not exclude individuals with disabilities
  • Advertisements that promote unauthorized fundraising activities or solicitations without proper authorization from the student union or university administration will not be approved

Still Ad:

  • File Types: JPG, PNG
  • Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • DPI: 72
  • File Size Limit: 10MB
  • Images may not be distorted or stretched
Video Ad:
  • File Types: MOV, MPEG-1, MP4
  • Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • File Size Limit: 50 MB
  • Video Length: 30 Sec. Max
    • Video may not be distorted or stretched
  • Important: Our TV Ad monitors do not broadcast audio
    • Videos without audio tracks are recommended
    • Closed captions are required if videos have an audio track.

Richard McKee Transparency Act

In compliance with the Richard McKee Transparency Act (Education Code Section 89913-89919), the Loker Student Union, Inc. of California State University, Dominguez Hills is required to provide members of the public, upon request any information relating to the conduct of the student body's business that is prepared, used or retained by the Loker Student Union, regardless of physical form or characteristics. To request records, please contact the Interim Vice President of Administration and Finance.

Sustainability Efforts

The Loker Student Union is constantly trying to implement and coordinate environmentally friendly efforts. These are some of our sustainability initiatives.

  • Automatic flushers in all urinals and toilets
  • Automatic soap dispensers in all restrooms
  • Recycling bin for cardboard boxes
  • Recycling containers for bottles and cans throughout the building
  • Reclaimed water irrigation throughout LSU landscape areas
  • Filtered water bottle filling station
  • Hand dryers in all restrooms
  • Natural light in many areas of the facility
  • Motion sensors light switches in all office areas
  • LED lighting in public spaces & Ballrooms
